INTRODUCTION

The National Socialist Congress is a political party formed by socialists and student activists of Ghanaian descent. The party is open to all Ghanaian citizens who have attained universal adult suffrage age and do not belong to any other political party. NSC hopes to drastically plummet the existing dispensation of corruption, misappropriation, underdevelopment, poverty, joblessness, illiteracy and suffering through the equitable and effective use of Ghana's human, capital and natural resources.

The NSC therefore is committed to defending the interest of people through policies and programs that will tackle the alarming rate of inequality in Ghana. A democratically elected NSC government will lay premium on the needs of the people unlike the existing order where the desire for profit and greed overrides the welfare of the ordinary Ghanaian.

OUR VISION

The National Socialist Congress is founded on the ideals of equity, probity, freedom, and justice. The vision of the National Socialist Congress is to ensure that the resources of the nation are harnessed and distributed as best as possible to serve the common good of Ghanaians. We believe that the faithful realization of this vision can be a starting point for the reversal of Ghana's age-long underdevelopment.

Essentially, the National Socialist Congress, plan is to build a new and a vibrant Ghana that everyone will be proud of a Ghana that will be devoid of illiteracy, injustice, insensitivity, homelessness and joblessness. The National Socialist Congress believes that, Ghana's buoyant mineral, capital, natural and agricultural resources are sufficient to guarantee a better life for all Ghanaians.

Today, we find ourselves in a predicament where 2% of our population misappropriate and siphon over 50% of Ghana's wealth while the majority of Ghanaians languish in abject poverty. Statistics from the Ghana statistical service shows that the vast majority of Ghanaians live below 4 dollars a day! This explicitly shows the level of poverty amongst the citizens of a country which produces oil, export gold, diamond and cocoa on a large scale.

Nothing in the 1992 Republican Constitution of Ghana supports the condition of poverty amidst plenty which majority of Ghanaians are subjected to. In order to undo this unfortunate spectacle, an NSC government shall bring the key sectors of the economy and Ghana's abundant agricultural and mineral resources under government ownership and democratic management to serve the common good of the people.

OUR MISSION

The National Socialist Congress shall be the political party of the ordinary Ghanaian with the mission to take part in elections and all lawful civil engagements. We hope to attain political power so as to begin in earnest the building of a new Ghana where the interest of the majority will form the basis of governance and economy.

COLOURS RED: Universally, red is associated with socialism and it represents vigor and courage. Essentially NSC as a party values courage and vigor WHITE: White signifies purity truth and uprightness. NSC is a party that advocates for accountability and truth BLACK: Black signifies power. The color black explains our quest to win power. GOLD: Gold signifies triumph. NSC is committed to triumphing in our endeavors.
