NSC FLAGBEARER DONATES TO THE TESHIE CAMP 2 MOSQUE

The Flagbearer of the National Socialist Congress, Mr. Opare Philip today, paid a courtesy visit to the Teshie Camp 2 Mosque and made donations worth thousands of cedis.

He was accompanied by some executives of the NSC including Redeemer Kumake, the running mate to the Flagbearer, Ibrahim Effah, General Secretary, Phoebe Addai who is the Women's organizer and Philinia Atinga, a ranking member of the party's organizing committee.

Some of the items donated included bags of rice, litres of oil, tomato purees, packs of water and other essentials.

The Imam of the Mosque, Imam Mutawakil in receiving the items appreciated the kind gesture.

He also prayed for NSC's flagbearer and party faithfuls and urged them to continue with their kind words.

After the donation, the Flagbearer of the NSC and his entourage performed some Islamic rituals including ablution and familiarized themselves with the Muslim worshippers.

He together with his party executives joined the Teshie Camp 2 Muslims in their Magrib prayers.

The donation and courtesy visit was done to reaffirm the NSC's commitment to promoting religious tolerance in Ghana and also to support the Muslims as they fast and pray during this year's Ramadan.
